OUR ROOTS
"To hand over the tradition is to hand over the grove, not the ashes of the past!"
(Thomas More-2013, excerpt from my teacher Petra Kobayashi's letter)
No matter what discipline we take, what is always valid for the internalization of knowledge is to have a root and to maintain continuity. A culture is formed on each internal path, and the path preserves and develops itself with its own living ethical values. Although today's technology facilitates access to information, it cannot replace the master-apprentice relationship in any way. Our original development is driven by the experience of years in tradition and the continuity of the master-apprentice relationship.
